Go sit in a parking lot.
I'm serious. I know you think i'm crazy, like who does that.
I know this might sound really strange. But, if your anything like me you can't just sit at home all the time. You need to get outside and be in the open. At the same time though, you don't feel like dealing with people or interactions.
Your mind is racing, you've stuck yourself in your dark bedroom, all alone, trying to shut out the world. Problem is your thoughts feel like their bouncing off the walls you've trapped yourself in.
This is why a parking lot is so great. It's a big open space, you can be by yourself with the radio cranked. I usually bring some snacks and a book or something. All you have to do is sit and watch.
You have your own complete space. No one will bother you especially if you park away from all the cars. The best part is that you don't have to have plans with anyone. And you don't need anyone else's permission.
I've found that by parking away from all the cars and stuff, you get a whole other perspective. The surroundings look completely new, even if you've been there a hundred times.
You finally have a healthy environment to think and just watch the world go by. Who knew parking lots were great thinking spots.
